Obituary of Eugene F. Crowley

Eugene F. Crowley, 74, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly Friday morning, July 19, 2002 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank L. and Florence Belanger Crowley. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Crowley, Binghamton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Crowley Larsen and Robert Larsen, Thompson, Conn., Paula Crowley, Gainesville, Fla.; his mother, Mary Crowley, Binghamton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr.'s Leonard and Jane Crowley, Edina, Minn., David and Joan Crowley, Brian Crowley, all of Binghamton; several nieces, and nephews. Gene attended St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Albany Law School in 1952. He practiced law in Binghamton and was a partner in the law firm of Shaw, O'Brien, and Crowley. He was former president of the Binghamton Board of Education, former president and member of the Broome County Bar Association, member of American Bar Association and N.Y.S. Bar Association. Prior to practicing law, he was on the Board of Directors of Crowley Milk Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Gene may be made to the Eugene F.
