Winona D. Fitzgerald Obituary

Winona D. Pitcher Fitzgerald, 85 of

Johnson City, died Saturday morning, May 18, 2002, at the Vestal Nursing

Center. She was predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Fitzgerald.

She is survived by sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann Fitzgerald, Montrose,

Pa., Francis and Edith Fitzgerald, Binghamton, Geraldine Pierson, Athens, Pa.;

cousins, Thomas Fitzgerald, Binghamton, Larry and Evelyn Peterson, N.C., Peg

Vetter, Saugerties; special friends, Ruth and Francis Mras; several nieces and

nephews. She was a member of Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist

Church, Johnson City. She was a graduate of Charles S. Wilson Hospital School

of Nursing and was a registered nurse in area hospitals and did private duty

nursing. Funeral and Interment Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons

Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Daniel Ling, her

pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Berkshire, N.Y.

The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Tuesday from 1

p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.
