Obituary of Christina M. Connelly

Christina M. Connelly, 74, of Binghamton, died Monday morning, August 12, 2002. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph Connelly, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joseph A. Connelly, Binghamton; her children, James Connelly, Ithaca, Katherine and Anthony Citriniti, Binghamton, Christina and John Hlavac, Johnson City, Mary and Dell Boyle, Conklin; eight grandchildren, Heather, Ceara, Lisa, Joseph, Jackie, Dell, Lloyd, Lincoln; a great-grandson, Gavin; sisters and brother, John Connolly, Patricia Bunting, Nora Nicholl, Mary Connolly, Kathleen Veneziano; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton and a former telephone operator. Christina was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and friend. We hold you close within our hearts, to walk with us us throughout our lives until we meet again. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday at 1 p.m. and at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Christina may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 356 N.
