Obituary of Teresa C. Feheley

Teresa C. Feheley, 86, of Vestal, died Tuesday morning, August 13, 2002 at Elizabeth Church Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Feheley; her parents, William J. and Florence McDonald Conlon; and her brothers, Robert T. Conlon and Joseph W. Conlon. She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Frances McGowan, Albany, Eileen Gallagher, Virginia and William Byrnes, Florence Day, all of Binghamton; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Sisters-in-law, Agnes Feheley Donnelly and Dorothy Canny Conlon. She was a member of St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, Pa. Teresa was a graduate of Marywood University and took graduate courses at Yale and Columbia Universities. Teresa taught school at Johnson City High School before becoming a social worker for Catholic Charities of Broome County. She was active in the Democratic Party, Legion of Mary and Right to Life. She was active in many prayer groups and active with Transfiguration Monestary. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday at 11 a.m. and at 12 noon at St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, Pa., where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Teresa may be made to the Hospice Program, c/o Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
