Obituary of Virginia E. Keefe

Virginia E. Keefe, 93, of Binghamton, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2002 at her home. She was born on July 1, 1908 in Margaretville, N.Y. the daughter of the late Frederick and Charlotte (Mae) Dexter. Virginia was the wife of Emmett F. Keefe who predeceased her February 18, 1966. Virginia was formerly employed at Fowlers Department Store and McLean's Department Store in Binghamton. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton. She is survived by a number of second cousins; and several close friends. Funeral services will be held atJ.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday at 10 a.m. Rev. Corey S. Van Kuren, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
