Donald C. Vitkus, 85, of Binghamton, died Wednesday morning, October 9, 2002 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Anna Vitkus and a sister, Ann Genis. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Irene Neswadi Vitkus, Binghamton; two sisters, Jennie Mikulewicz and Kay Egnot; nieces, Carol Ann Roberts, Lauren and Carin Roberts, Ann Marie Duboy; a nephew, John Kovaleski and family; as well as many friends and neighbors on Westmoor Place. Donald was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, The Holy Name Society, and the Over 50 Club. He was born in Forest City, Pa., and was a retired 37 year employee of the G.A.F. Corporation. Donald was a member of the Greenman Senior Citizen Center, member of AARP and was an avid bowler. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton Saturday at 10:30 a.m., and at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
