Obituary of David C. Dickinson

Dickinson, David C. Hillcrest: David C. Dickinson, 70 of Hillcrest, died Friday January 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Marion and Hazel; two brothers, Gene and Donn Dickinson; a sister Mary Miller. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lorraine Dickinson, Hillcrest; two sons, Michael Dickinson, David D. and Nickole Dickinson, all of Endwell; the love of his life, his granddaughter, Ashlynn; a sister, Cecelia Dickinson, Kirkwood; sister-in-law, Mary Dickinson; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Vestal. Dave retired from Ameripride Linen Service. He loved trains and was a member of LCCA. He enjoyed gardening, bowling and the NY Yankees. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lourdes ICU for the compassionate care and concern shown to David. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Monday at 12 Noon. Reverend Edward J. Zandy, his pastor, will officiate. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Monday from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of David may be made to any charitable organization.
