Obituary of Philip J. Kelleher

Philip J. Kelleher, 76, of Apalachin,
died Thursday afternoon, January 3, 2002 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical
Center. He was predeceased by his brothers, Lawrence and Paul Kelleher. He is
survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Turner Kelleher, Apalachin; his son
and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ann Kelleher, Freeville; two grandchildren,
Clare and Philip Kelleher; a sister, Eileen Kelleher, Reading Mass.; several
nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary's Church, Apalachin
and was active in the Holy Name Society of St. Paul's Church, Hamilton, Mass.
Phil started his career with General Electric Corporation in Lynn, Mass. and
was in International Sales in Electrical Systems when he retired 37 years
later. He attended Northeastern and Brown Universities and was active in the
Waterman Conservation Center. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII attaining the
rank of LTJG. The family will receive friends at the J. A. McCormack Sons
Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral
services will be held Monday in Hamilton, Mass. Burial will be in Hamilton
Cemetery, Hamilton, Mass. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy, in
memory of Phil, may be made to St. Margaret Mary's Church, 1110 Penna Ave.,
Apalachin, N.Y. 13732, or Mended Hearts, c/o Marcia Erle, 508 Page Ave.,
Endicott, N.Y. 13760.
