Obituary of Carrie E. Kocik

Carrie E. (Marean) Kocik, 96, of Binghamton, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 26, 2001 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, John Kocik; her parents, William and Mary Marean; her sisters, Eva Caddell, Ruth Harder, Lena Sexton and Gertrude Felice; daughter-in-law, Frances Kocik; and grandsons. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Norman Lawrence, Chenango Bridge, Janet and Neal Doebler, Harpursville; three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Margery Kocik, Richard and Veronica Kocik, Jack Kocik, all of Binghamton; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton and was a hairdresser at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #1013, and avid bowler and shuffleboard player. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed. Funeral services will be held at theJ. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
