Robert

F. Kaim, of Vestal died peacefully Saturday morning, April 14, 2001 at the NYS

Veterans Home in Oxford. He is survived by his wife, Marianne Kaim, Vestal; his

loving family, Bob and Lori Kaim, Mari Ellen and Peter Rau, Mike Kaim, Steve

and Patty Kaim, Kathrine Whitaker; beloved "Bumpi" to Timmy, Amber,

Stevie, Brandon, Wyatt, Katy and Daisy; his sister, Dorothy and nephew;

father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Helen Eickhoff. Bob was a member of

St. Vincent DePaul Church, Vestal; 45 year member of local 42 Stone Masons;

lifetime member and past president of the Binghamton German Club and a singer

with the chorus for 35 years; Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and member of

American Legion, Post 1645. He, Ed Smith, Mike Kinney and Karl Miller were the

members of the Happy Wanderers Polka Band. He was a loyal NY Giants and Yankee

Fan who loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Funeral

services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street,

Binghamton, Friday at 3 p.m. Rev. Daniel M. Caruso, his Pastor will officiate.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive

friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 12 noon until service time

at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Bob may be

made to the Ronald McDonald House of Central N.Y., 1027 E. Genesee St.,

Syracuse, NY 13210.
