Obituary of Estrella Guzman

Estrella Guzman, 92, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at the Heritage Nursing Home, Athens, Pa. She was predeceased by her husband, Ricardo Guzman. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Estrella and Frank Schoblick, Johnson City; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricardo and Lily Guzman, Downey, Calif.; her grandchildren, Jessica and Amanda Schoblick, New York City, Francis Schoblick, Las Vegas, Nev., Richard, Peter and Michael Guzman, Downey, Calif.; two great-grandchildren. She retired as a teacher in Cuba before coming to the United States in 1963. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. James Church, Johnson City Monday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton.
