Evelyn K. Burke Obituary

Evelyn K. Reardon Burke, 83 of Binghamton, died Monday

morning, January 15, 2001 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her

husband, William F. Burke and a sister, Ellen Wood. She is survived by four

sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Mary Burke, Brea, Calif., Robert and

Cathy Burke, Queens, William and Deborah Burke, Donald and Debra Burke, all of

Binghamton; nine grandchildren, Patrick, Sean, Nancy, Joanne, Brady, Bryan,

Emily, Alexandra and Kira; one great-grandchild, Catherine Burke; several

nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Myles Wood, Vestal; a sister-in-law, Mary

Burke, Fla. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton and

the Altar Rosary Society. Evelyn graduated from Binghamton Central High School

and was a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. Funeral services

will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton

Friday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church where a

Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.

The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Thursday from 4

to 8 p.m.
