Joseph Arthur
Manni, 70 of Binghamton died unexpectedly Saturday morning, November 25, 2000
at Binghamton General Hospital. He was
predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Lena Manni and his sister, Frances
Giorgio. He is survived by his wife of
50 years, Frances DePalmo Manni, Binghamton; his four children, Juliann
Perkins, Binghamton; Arthur and Terresa Manni, Newport Beach, Calif.; Michael
Manni, Binghamton, James Manni, Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren, Christina
and Kenneth Couperthwait, Joseph Perkins, Michelle Manni, Derrick Manni,
Michael F. Manni, Matthew Manni, Melissa Manni, Patrick Manni; one
great-granddaughter, Celia Rose Couperthwait; two sisters and brothers-in-law,
Grace and Leo Mariani, Binghamton.;
Dolores and Louis Augostinin, Johnson City; ; brother and sister-in-law,
Anthony and Dorothy Manni, Johnson City; brother-in-law and sister-in-law,
Leonard and Roberta DePalmo; aunt and uncle, Christopher and Arlene Argento;
several nieces and nephews. Joe was a
member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton and the Holy Name Society; member of the Knights
of Columbus Peter T. Campon Council # 206.
He was the owner and operator of several food related businesses for
over 30 years. Joe and Frances celebrated their 50th Wedding
Anniversary Friday evening, November 24, 2000. He will be deeply missed by all
his friends and family and those who were touched by his warm and generous
spirit.
Funeral services
will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St. Binghamton
Wednesday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Vestal
Ave., Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson
City. The Family will receive friends
at the McCormack Funeral Home, Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Joe may
be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 1263 Vestal Ave., Binghamton,
N.Y. 13903.
