Mary Frances

McMahon Purple, 87, of Port Dickinson, died Thursday morning, November 23,

2000, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband Hadley J. Purple; a son, Thomas F.

Purple; mother and father, Margaret and Frank McMahon; her sisters Ann

Sullivan, Elizabeth Madigan, Patricia Farrell; her brothers Robert McMahon,

James McMahon, William McMahon. She is

survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Daniel Harrick, Port

Dickinson; her grandchildren, Matthew T. Harrick, Amanda C. Harrick; Megan E.

Harrick; sisters-in-law, Salome Purple, Syracuse, Margaret Guy, Greene; several

nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a

member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Hillcrest, and retired from the New

York State Department of Motor Vehicles.







A Funeral Mass

will be offered at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Hillcrest, Monday at 10

a.m. Burial will be in Calvary

Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will

receive friends at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St.,

Binghamton, Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary may be made to Meals on

Wheels, c/o Office for Aging, Governmental Plaza, Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
