Stehphen J. Bedosky Obituary

Stephen J.Bud Bedosky, 63, of Hancock, died Wednesday,

November 1, 2000, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his, Dr. Stephen J.

Bedosky and his brother Michael J. Bedosky.

He is survived by his mother, Margaretta Bedosky, Sneads Ferry, NC; his

son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Terri Bedosky, Tallahassee, Fla; his

daughter and son-in-law, Dr. James and Kristen Donahue his grandchildren,

Karinne and Anya Bedosky, and Collin and Harrison Donahue; his sister ad

brother in-law, Mary Anne and Edward Gallaher, Sneads Ferry, NC, Merriellen

Bedosky, Binghamton; seven nieces and nephews and 15 grand-nieces and nephews;

his friends and companion, Helga Stein.

He was a graduate of Ithaca

College and Hofstra University and was in education and principal in the

Centereach, L.I. School System for many years, and a member of St. Thomas Moore

Church, Hauppauge, L.I. For the past

four years, hes been a resident of Hancock, NY and an active member of St.

Pauls Catholic Church, and a part of the teaching community at the Hancock

Central School. Mr.B was known as a

friend and mentor to students.






A funeral mass will

be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, Saturday, at noon. The family will receive friends at the J.A.

McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday, from 6 to 9

p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial

contributions may be made to the Stephen J. Bedosky Scholarship Fund, c/o

Centereach High School, 43rd St, Centereach, NY 11720.
