Obituary of Shirley Kerneklian

Shirley M. (Campbell) Kerneklian, 76, of Binghamton, died Saturday, January 5, 2002 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Aram Kerneklian in 1962. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Barbara Kerneklian, Maine, N.Y., Gary Kerneklian, Binghamton, Ronald and Tonya Kerneklian, Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren, Marcie, Michael, David, Amy, Lindsey, and Mara; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Richard Harrington, Vestal, Helen and Lyman Denton, Maine, N.Y.; a brother and sister-in-law, Roland and Mary Campbell, Apalachin; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Anne Kerneklian, Vestal. She was the proprietor of Kerk's Window Cleaning for 55 years. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Fr. Mikael Devejian, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church, Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Shirley may be made to St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church, 12 Corbett Ave., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903 or to the American Cancer Society, 31 Adams Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760.
