David Anthony Custara, 38, of Binghamton,

died Wednesday evening, January 23, 2002 at Binghamton General Hospital. He was

predeceased by his father, Tony Custara. He is survived by his wife, Debby

Johnson Custara, Binghamton; the love of his life, his daughter, Tara Custara,

at home; his mother, Doris Custara, Binghamton; two sisters and brother-in-law,

Doris and Jim Stratowski, Milltown, N.J.; Toni Custara, Long Beach, N.J.;

nieces and nephew, Jesse, Chelsea, Kaitlyn; mother-in-law and father-in-law,

Michele and George Johnson, Binghamton. David was a graduate of North High

School, Class of 1981 and Broome Community College. He was fond of "GI

Joe's", Britain Soldiers, anything Disney and was a very talented artist.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Dialysis Unit at Binghamton General

Hospital and Dr. LaPorta and staff. Funeral services will be held at the J.A.

McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Rev. Clarence Cerwonka, Associate Pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church,

Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery,

Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home

Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory

of David may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 356 N. Midler Ave.,
