Rosemary R. Ryan Obituary
Rosemary Roach Ryan, 85, of Binghamton,
died Wednesday afternoon, May 1, 2002 at her home. She was predeceased by her
husband, Paul J. Ryan; and a brother, Louis Roach. She is survived by her
children, Paul M. and Karen Ryan, Binghamton, Mary and Fred Richards,
Rochester, Rosemary and David Booth, Binghamton; eight grandchildren, Paul J.
and Allison M. Ryan, Joe, Tara, Ryan and Mary Richards, Joe and Colleen Booth;
a niece, Peggy Boyle Goelzer, Matthews, N.C. Rosemary was a member of St.
Paul's Church, Binghamton and the Catholic Daughters of America Binghamton Court
#237. She was a graduate of Binghamton State Hospital School of Nursing and was
a registered nurse on the surgical floor at the Binghamton Psychiatric Center
for over 20 years and was a supervisor at the River Mede Manor. She was a
member of the C.S.E.A. and the New York State Professional Nurses Association.
The family would like to sincerely thank her caregivers, Donna and Liz and the
people from Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church,
corner of Chenango and Robinson Sts., Binghamton Saturday at 9 a.m. Burial will
be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Expressions of sympathy in memory of
Rosemary may be made to the Hospice Program, c/o Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital,
169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905, or New York City Fire Widows and
Orphans Fund, c/o Horizons Federal Credit Union, 120 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y.
