Obituary of Gerald J. Spring Jr.

William Paul McAlister, Jr., 92, of Binghamton died Wednesday afternoon, May 15, 2002 at the Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille McAlister; his son, James McAlister; and a grandson, Mark Sierzant. He is survived by a daughter, Jean Sierzant, Apalachin; two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Maureen McAlister, Hillcrest, Kenneth McAlister, Binghamton; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, a veteran of WWII and a member of American Legion Post 80. He was a retired 38 year employee of Chemung Spring Water, Co. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y.
