John J. Paddock, 82, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 28, 2002 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, John M. and Mabel Paddock; his brothers, Earl, Francis and Kenneth Paddock; and brother-in-law, Francis Green and Dr. John Green. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn Green Paddock, Binghamton; his children, Mary and Dr. James Lee, Binghamton, Barbara Donahue, Binghamton, Edward Paddock, Fla., John and Colleen Paddock, Syracuse, Thomas J. Paddock, Apalachin; eight grandchildren, David and Laura Lee, Susan Lee, Aubrey Lee, Kevin Donahue, Michelle and Ryan Paddock, Courtney and Matthew Paddock; two great-grandchildren, Abbie and Gracie Lee; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert J. and Josephine Green, Marjorie Green, Ann Burnell; several nieces and nephews. Jack was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, a retired 33 year employee of the IBM Corporation and a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Silver Lake, Pa. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy, in memory of Jack, may be made to Broome Developmental Center Parents Group, Glenwood Rd., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
