Bloomer, William H. Binghamton: William H. Bloomer, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Binghamton, NY on Sunday, November 25, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Sarah Jane Bloomer. He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 53 years, Patty; his son, Christopher William Bloomer; his daughter, Elizabeth Bloomer Nesvold; her husband, Peter and his granddaughter, Lily; his sister, Ann Patterson; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother- and sister-in-law, Verne and Mimi Trinkino of Hobe Sound, FL. "Billy", to his family and friends, was born on October 22, 1928. He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and Hamilton College. He served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and taught navigation at the Naval Station in Newport, RI. He was the founder and president of Binghamton Steel Erectors, Inc. until his retirement. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 44 Main St., Binghamton, NY 13905. The family will receive friends at 10:15 a.m. There was no place more special to Billy than Silver Lake, and a celebration of his life will be held there in the summer of 2013. Box 8, Montrose, PA 18801 or The Music Fund at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 44 Main St., Binghamton, NY 13905.
