Rossi, Carmella M. Binghamton: Carmella M. Rossi, 87, of Binghamton, went into the arms of her Savior Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Bridgewater Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Quirino Rossi; her parents, Sabastian and Rosaria Salva. She was born in Jamestown, NY on October 31, 1925 and was raised in Sicily, Italy. She married at the age of 25 and came to Binghamton with her husband and made a life here. She is survived by her children, Anthony and Edna Rossi, Josephine and David Moskowitz, Teresa and Dr. Greg Wixsom, John Rossi and Julie Taro, Tom Rossi, Paul Rossi; grandchildren, Anthony Rossi Jr., Philip Rossi, Alexander Wixsom; great-grandchildren, Anthony Rossi III, Victoria Rossi, Justin Rossi; a sister, Sara Valla; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, and a member of the St. John Vianny Club and the Sons of Italy Auxiliary. The family wishes to thank the staff of 4B at Bridgewater for the care and concern shown to our mother. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church, Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton.
