Obituary of Steven Sedor

Steven Sedor, 92, of Binghamton, was called home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Sedor; granddaughter, Kendra Lacy, FL; his sisters-in-law, Maria Sedor and Helen Piotrowski; his very caring niece, Lorrie Oetting, Lancaster, PA, and her family; and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Bertha (Jachowski) Sedor; his son, Alan; his parents, George and Mary (Zubal) Sedor; his brother, Andrew Sedor; his brothers John, Bill and George Sedor and their wives; and his sisters, Ann Sytch, Helen Tobey and Mary Hlopko and their husbands. He was a veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton. Steven was a retired Fire Marshall for the Binghamton Fire Department. The family wishes to thank the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home for their loving care during his stay. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Ave Binghamton Tuesday at 10am. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Church of Saints John and Andrew Tuesday from 9am-10am.
