Obituary of Harry H Hill

Harry H. Hill, Jr., 95, of Binghamton, died Sunday December 28, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Kathryn Hill. He is survived by his children, Michael J. and Debra Jean Hill, Cheryl and Tom Morellino; his grandchildren, O.D. and Sharon Stento, Kristen and Dan Lewis, Karina Hill, Tara Stento, Erica and Thomas Ferraro; great-grandchildren, Ellyn and Mike Ensby, Phillip and Tyler Weston, Cole and Cara Lewis, Nicalena and Vincent Ferraro, Aiden Dupree; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton and a retired mechanical engineer from G.A.F. Corporation. He was an 8th Air Force Veteran of World War II and served in the 305th Bomb Group. Harry was a P.O.W. in Germany for 15 months. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 478. He loved golf, baseball and his grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Dr. Steven Malkin and the Lourdes Hospice Staff. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton Wednesday at 12:30pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, FRIDAY AT 12:30 PM, where Military Honors will be provided. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St, Binghamton Tuesday from 4-7pm.
