Fitzpatrick, William A. Johnson City: William A. "Bill" Fitzpatrick, 86, of Johnson City, formerly of Hutchinson Island, FL and Apalachin, passed away November 6, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Alice. William is also survived by his seven children: sons, William, Brian (MaryLinn), Vince, Ray (Beth), Paul (Cheryl); his daughters, Anne and Ray Fargnoli, Katie and Dave Diorio. William was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who he loved and adored and was so proud of. His sister, Mary Pat Race Lee, also survives. William was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II. He retired from the IBM Corporation in Owego and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. in Endicott Lodge 1977 and the Knights of Columbus in Jensen Beach, FL and served with the NYS Troopers. Bill and Mary retired to Hutchinson Island, FL where they spent 28 years enjoying the beach and sunshine. "Another Day in Paradise, Dad!" A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Owego. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Bill may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Church Building Fund, 157 Clark St., Vestal, NY 13850.
