Eleanore Marie Harrington Loughney, of Binghamton, received her Angel wings on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. She is reunited with her husband James and her son William and all of her other family members that have gone before her. She is survived by her three daughters, Florence and Michael Calabucci, Mary and John Hess, Linda and Thomas Eggleston; many grandchildren and a new great grandson. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton. Eleanore grew up the youngest of four children in Olyphant, PA. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse. She relocated to Binghamton, NY to raise her family with her husband Jim. She worked at Lourdes Hospital and eventually Good Shepherd-Fairview Nursing Home for many years before retiring. Eleanore had a tremendous amount of faith and always placed others' needs above her own. Anyone who knew Eleanore will remember how her smile and laugh could brighten a room. The family would like to thank the staff of Bridgewater Nursing facility for all the care they gave Eleanore, especially these last two weeks. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A.
