Obituary of Willard A. Cornwall, Jr.

Willard A. Cornwall, Jr., 74, of Binghamton, N.Y., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 22, 2014 unexpectedly in the comfort of his home. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lesley A. Cornwall-Buell (Greg) and grandson, David P. Erway; his former wife and friend, Maureen Aissa; his sister, Valerie Ledwick (Marshall); also many nieces and nephews. Willard proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an accomplished pianist, and also enjoyed golfing, gardening, bowling and photography. He was a retired engineer employed by the Hazeltine Corporation of Long Island. Memorial Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Francis W. Kocik will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Willard's memory may be made to PAALS (Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services) P.O.
