Obituary of M. Denise Simmons

Denise Simmons, formerly of Endwell, passed away August 25th, 2014 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Grace Daniels; husband, William F. Simmons; and daughter, Debra Simmons. She is survived by her children, Margaret and Perry Rindenow, Apalachin, Michele Simmons, Binghamton, William and Lynne Simmons, Endicott, Kathleen and James Cost, Penfield, NY, and Dennis Simmons, Johnson City; her seven grandchildren, Zachary Rindenow, Jonathan (Simmons) Reynolds, and Amanda Brady, Jessica Simmons and David Arnold, Stephanie and Archie Resue, Samantha Simmons, William Cost and Eriketa Cost; as well as her great-grandson, Jack Resue. She is also survived by her beloved sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Frank and Joyce Gilroy, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. Denise was active in the Monday Afternoon Club. She enjoyed bowling, bridge, ceramics, reading, and vacationing on Sanibel Island. She also never met a dog she didn't love. The family wishes to thank the St. Louise and Hilltop Campuses of United Methodist Homes. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Ave., Binghamton, Thursday at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A.
