She was predeceased by her twin sister, Elizabeth A. Foster; brother, James Frew; parents, George & Catherine Frew; aunt, Elizabeth Walters; sister-in-law, June Frew; and mother-in-law, Lucille Davies. Catherine is survived by her life's work. Daughters, Emily (Joe) Ashman, Amanda (Dan) Van Volkinburg; and son, William E. (Patti) Davies III; her other son, David (Wendy) (Joseph and Jonathan) Cartie; grandchildren, Emily, Joey, Dana, and Jacob Ashman, and William E. Davies IV; great grandchild, Nathaniel. Her siblings, sisters Mary (David) Nixon and Anne Frew; brothers, George Frew, John (Patti) Frew, Robert Frew (Cheryl Seymour); and sister-in-law, June Frew. Many nieces and nephews including but not limited to Linda Klub and her children, Dominick, Catherine, and Samuel; and Allen Foster and his daughter Madison. Many amazing and loving cousins including Rose, Joanne, Sherry, Kathy, Barbara and Dee. Her loving and supportive in-laws Sharon & Brian Leahy, Melody & Jeffrey McDonald and family, Robin Davies, James & Rosalie Davies, Holly & Gene Posniewski and family. She is also survived by many friends, including Cathy, Catalina, Scotty, Nancy, Gen and Lynne. She formerly worked for the City of Binghamton, Binghamton City School District, Olum's and New York Department of Labor. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Paul's Church Thursday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. In her memory, please perform a random act of kindness.
