Taylor, Marjorie C. Binghamton: Marjorie C. Taylor, 86, was awarded her wings on August 12, 2012. Marge was born on September 6, 1925, the daughter of John and Margaret Farrell who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband, William J. Taylor; and sister, Rosemary Taylor. Marge is survived by her seven children, Maryann (Chuck) Schafer, Erie, CO, Jim Taylor, Alexandria, VA, Betty (Bob) Norton, Statesville, NC, John (Kathleen) Taylor, Delhi, Kathy (Ben) Cannavino, Rochester, Debbie (Rob) Hadden, Binghamton, and Mike (Lori) Taylor, Harpursville. In addition, she is survived by more than 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton. Marge was a graduate of St. Paul's High School and worked many years for the Binghamton Police Department and the Broome County Sheriff's Office. Aside from her family, she loved animals of all kinds through dogs and horses were her favorites. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton, Monday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to United Methodist Homes, Elizabeth Church Manor, 863 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905 or the charity of your choice . "She loved and was loved, may the good Lord now hold her in the palm of His hand."
