Obituary of Serita Silvestri

Silvestri, Serita Roosa Binghamton: Serita Roosa Silvestri, 79, of Binghamton, died Sunday, July 20, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband, Sebastian "Sam" Silvestri and her special niece, Bonnie Cerasaro. She is survived by her children, William and Kathleen Silvestri, Endwell, Cerise and Robert Vallese, Endicott; her grandchildren, Jade Silvestri Adams, Serita Enney, Louis Hayter, Joshua Emms; several great-grandchildren; her sisters, Yvonne and Andy Hovancik, Sabina and George Vodrogi; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton. Serita enjoyed her time and friends at Hamilton House and enjoyed bingo, crafts, and the beach. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Ave., Binghamton, Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
