Binghamton: Andrew J. Donahue, "Big Andy," was reunited with his beloved son on June 7, 2014. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew Wilson Donahue; his parents, Leo and Catherine Donahue; and father-in-law, W. Fowler Wilson. He has left behind his wife, Tari Wilson Donahue and daughter, Morgan W. Donahue and her boyfriend, Jason Gosney, all of Binghamton. He is also survived by brothers, Leo (Sim), Timothy (Maureen), Patrick (Trixie); and sister, Sharon Burghardt (Scott); sister-in-law, Leticia Wilson; and brothers-in-law, Michael (Stacey) and W. Fowler Wilson Jr. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Erin, Ryan, Holly, Nathane, McKenzi, Matthew, Whitlee, Ashlee, Baylee, Devin, Kian, Kennedy, Megan, Madison, Mallory, Mia, Andrew, Helen and Heather. Andy leaves us with many wonderful memories, foremost his sense of humor. He loved his family deeply and his adventures with his canine pal, Smeegie. In years past, much of his free time was spent coaching Little League, CYO Grammar School, and AAU basketball. A fierce competitor, he will no doubt be remembered by countless young men he coached as well as those he played sports with and more importantly, against. Andy was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Church and always looked forward to assisting with the annual St. Patrick's Day party and run. He will be sorely missed by those that love him. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church, Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Andy may be made to the Andrew Wilson Donahue Scholarship Fund c/o Scott Burghardt, 4505 Marlboro Pl., Vestal, NY 13850.
