Obituary of Elizabeth C Travis

Travis, Elizabeth C. (Brain) Endicott: Elizabeth C. (Brain) Travis, 90, of Endicott passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at Ideal Senior Living Center, where she was a resident for the last 4 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Clark B. Travis, her parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and her son-in-law, Bert Welch. She is survived by three daughters, Glenda and William Bostwick, Winter Haven, FL; Beverly and Richard Mills, Binghamton, with whom she made her home for 10 years; Jean and Fred Albert, Conklin. Elizabeth is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was a life-long member of Central United Methodist Church of Endicott as well as a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, Round Hill Lodge. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the loving care provided to Betty by the staff of Violet and Daisy Court's at Ideal Senior Living Center. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Reverend Mark Marino, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Monday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Betty may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
