Obituary of Margaret Kane

Mary Margaret "Peggy" Kane passed away at her home on March 28, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, John Robert and Mary Kane. She is survived by siblings, Patricia and Daniel Chamberlin, Sharon and Joseph Chesna, John and Lynn Kane, James and Gerianne Kane, Maureen and Rich Bendert, Joan and Kevin Coughlin; 15 nieces and nephews, 6 great-nieces and nephews; special aunt, Julia Dohnalek; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Peggy was a Registered Nurse who had a special love for Oncology and Hospice Nursing. The family would like to extend our gratitude to Michelle Brundage for the assistance and friendship she extended to Peggy. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. James Church, Johnson City, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790 or UHS Foundation, 10-42 Mitchell Ave., Binghamton, NY 13903.
