Obituary of Elizabeth R. Yanus

Yanus, Elizabeth R. Vestal: Elizabeth Ruth Moran Yanus, 90, of Vestal, formerly of Binghamton, died Thursday, October 11, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Yanus Sr. She is survived by her children, James and Mimi Yanus, Boulder, CO, Betty and Tom Bried, Valatie, Chuck and Deb Yanus, Crossville, TN, Jeanne and Mark Overgaard, Bellingham, WA, Rick and Mary-Jo Yanus, San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren, Jason, Marion, Jessica, Erin, Joshua, Matt, Nick; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Makenna; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal, and enjoyed sewing. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Charles Street, Vestal, Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Friendsville, PA. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Ruth may be made to Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton.
