Carol A. Nolan Obituary
Carol A Nolan left us on January 9th 2025. She was predeceased by her mother Jean Petty and her father Vincent Crowe. She is survived by her loving partner Bud Reyen, brother Martin Crowe, son James(Michelle), daughter Maura, grandchildren DJ Hendricks and Meredith Nolan. And many cousins in Syracuse, Binghamton and Ohio.
Carol was a lifelong educator. She began as a reading teacher in Binghamton city school district, assistant principal in Susquehanna Valley school district and completed her career as elementary principal in Vestal school district. She made many friends everywhere she worked and impacted the lives of countless students. Carol loved going to the beach every summer with her children and the McManus family.
She had many interests including gardening club, St.Patrick's choir, Monday night golf league and worked on political campaigns.
The family would like to thank the palliative care unit at general hospital for letting Carol end her life with dignity.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church, Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Carol's memory may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton, NY 13905. The Mass will be live streamed at www.sta-sp.org
