Patricia T. Kelleher (Nanny), 95, of Vestal, died Saturday night, January 4, 2025 at Crown Park Nursing and Rehabilitation, Cortland. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip J. Kelleher. She was predeceased by her brother, John Turner III, his wife Kay Turner, and parents, John Turner and Agnes Turner. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ann Kelleher, Cortland; two grandchildren, Clarice Kelleher (Charles Ulrich) and Philip Kelleher (Carolina Kelleher); and three great grandchildren Savanna Ulrich, James Ulrich, and Hazel Ulrich; nieces Tracey Rennie (Patrick Rennie), Amy Phelan (William Phelan), Kimberly Applestein (Jeffrey Applestein) and Barbara Kelleher. She was predeceased by her nephew Steven Kelleher. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. She was born in Hamilton MA, was a graduate of Hamilton High School, and married to Philip Kelleher in April 1951. Together they moved to Atlanta GA, Waynesboro VA, Erie PA, Apalachin NY, and she retired in Vestal. She was a dedicated mother and wife and pursued a career as a secretary at St. Thomas Moore Elementary School, Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse, and Lourdes Hospital. In retirement she volunteered at Mercy House, Castle Gardens and was a eucharistic minister. She brought comfort and happiness to people as a volunteer. She was an avid traveler, enjoying many cruises with her husband and dear friends Joan and Bill Mahoney. Ice cream was also a passion, from Brigham's in Beverly to the Dipper in Apalachin, everyone had fun enjoying ice cream with Nanny. She loved adventures with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dog Molly. She enjoyed cards and having fun, especially with friends Nancy, Janet and Fran.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main Street, Vestal NY on Thursday January 16, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m until 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, MA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy, in memory of Patricia, may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott NY 13760.
