Obituary of Elizabeth Martin

Elizabeth Mastronardi Martin, 91 of Binghamton, died Friday March 14, 2014 at the NYS Veterans' Home at Oxford with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond F. Martin and her son, John J. Martin. She is survived by her children, David R. and Patricia Martin, Geraldine and Robert Clark, Patricia Taggart; her grandchildren, Ryan, Lindy Rae, Scott, Christopher, Robert Jr., Emily; her great grandchildren, Payton, Lincoln, Grace; a sister, Anna Monticello; two brothers, Sam Mastronardi and John Mastronardi; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton. She was a very kind, wonderful, loving person who will be greatly missed by her family whom she dearly loved. The family would like to thank the staff of the Oxford Veterans' Home for the excellent care given to Elizabeth. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Thomas Aquinas Church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Elizabeth may be made to the NYS Veterans' Home Patient Care Fund.
