McPhee, Harold A. Binghamton: Harold Albert "Mac" McPhee, 65, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on March 11th, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Boston, MA to parents William and Margaret (Cook) McPhee. He is predeceased by his infant daughter, Catherine and brother, Richard. He is survived by sons, Michael (Catherine Artman McPhee), Patrick (Courtney Hull) and daughter, Theresa (Fern Ramos); his beloved grandchildren, William "Liam" and Claire; his former wife, Maureen Conboy McPhee; and his brothers, James and Gene and their families. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the Air Force after 20 years of distinguished service. He earned his Associate's Degree with highest honors in Restaurant Management from Broome Community College. He served as an Assistant Manager at Morey's Restaurant for many years. Mac was an avid dart player, Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was a great friend to many and a proud and caring father and grandfather. Mac and his family have been very grateful to his friends and the staff at Willow Point, Binghamton General and Wilson Hospitals (especially North Tower 4) for their support. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 1 p.m. Deacon Edward M. Blaine will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Flynn, PA, in the spring. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or charity of your choice .
