Obituary of Mary Jane Paterniti

Mary Jane (McLaughlin) Paterniti went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 6, 2024. Mary Jane was a graduate of Delhi Tech with an Associate Degree in Food Service Administration. She was Theraputic Dietician upon graduation from Delhi. She married in 1954 and raised two beautiful daughters, then went to work at Maine-Endwell School District for 30 years. She retired in 1993 to travel with her husband. Mary Jane loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Most Holy Rosary Church in Maine for 50 years. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Paterniti (Robert Terpak) and Dorothy Purvis (Mike). She is also survived by three grandchildren; Jason Purvis (Ashley Purvis), Jaime Bucinell (Dan Bucinell) and Jordan Purvis; three great grandchildren, Jaelynn, Olivia and Brooks Bucinell as well as several nieces and nephews who were all very special to her. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Most Holy Rosary Church, 2596 Main Street, Maine, NY, Friday at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at Most Holy Rosary Church, Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Mary Jane's memory may be made to Most Holy Rosary Church, 2596 Main Street, PO Box 248 Maine, NY
