Mary E. Yager Obituary
Mary (Normile) Yager,85, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024 surrounded by her family. Mary was born on February 16, 1939 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mary Walker, her brother, Robert J. Walker, her dear cousin, Helen Tigue Tricoli, and her late husband Robert (Butch) Yager. She was also predeceased by the father of her children, Thomas W. Normile.
She is survived by her loving companion and caretaker, Donald Addison. Mary is also survived by her children, Thomas Normile (Sandra), Maripat Quain, Kevin Normile (Shaun), Erin Maureen Normile, Brian Normile, Michelle Bidwell, and Kathleen Krowiak (Stan).
Mary was a loving Grandmother to Brittany (Dustin), Caitlin, Brendon, Nathan, Jake, Rob (Carrie), Ryan, Sidney, Joshua, Rebecca, Corey, Erin, Tommy and ten great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her loving sister Jocelyn Hmurcik (Thomas), Chris, Michael, Amy, two step daughters, Christina Baker and Brenda Fair and many life-long friends.
You would always find Mary dressed to the nines with perfect nails, her pink lipstick and her precious fur baby, Emmy Lou. Mom and Don spent many happy years as snowbirds in Sarasota, Florida. Our beautiful Mother was a devout Christian and will always be remembered for her zest for life and her love of family.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Court Street, Binghamton, Monday at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Monday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
