Obituary of Frances M. Medovich

Medovich, Frances M. Frances M. Medovich, 90 of Binghamton died Sunday February 23, 2014 at the home of her son in Candor, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph G. Medovich; her grandson, Scott Medovich; two brothers, Stephen and Bernard Zemanek; and a sister, Adeline Zych. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Michael and Kathy Medovich, Candor, Stephen and Kim Medovich, Pt. Crane; four grandsons, Todd, Lucas, Erik and Jason Medovich; 10 great grandchildren; a sister in law, Margaret Medovich; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a former member of St. Christopher's Church, Binghamton; former Parish Council and Choir member. She retired as a secretary at Broome Community College. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Ct. Binghamton #237. Fran was a former Master Gardener at Cutler Botanical Gardens. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Fran may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760 or any charitable organization.
