Margie, born in Scranton, Pa., was preceded by her parents John and Margaret Kennedy Robinson and her sister Maureen. Raised in Binghamton by her loving family, she graduated from Binghamton North High School and SUNY Cortland where she earned her Bachelor's in elementary education and her Master's in early secondary Social Studies. Margie had a long, fulfilling career teaching fifth grade - primarily at Horace Mann School in the Binghamton City School District. She loved teaching fifth graders and was a highly respected and valued educator. She was an active member of both Blessed Sacrament and Blessed Sacrament/ St. Vincent parishes. In her retirement she found time for gardening and volunteering in many capacities at church- including leading the funeral luncheon ministry for many years. Margie is survived by her dear friend, Margaret Blaha, whom she considered to be a sister. She also leaves behind a lifelong friend, Kathleen Cavallucci (John) and her family. Being considered a member of the Jerry Lynch and John Blaha families held a special place in her heart. Margie also enjoyed fond memories of her friendships with Jean Burtis and Sue Ronan.
