Susann L. (McGavin) Falkin, 89, of Endwell died peacefully on Monday May 6, 2024. She was the daughter of Anne and Thomas P. McGavin. She was the youngest of 12, all of whom predeceased her. She often joked, "They kept trying until they reached perfection". She attended Meshoppen schools.

She met and married the love of her life, William R. Falkin, "her Bill", who died in 2010. They enjoyed many years of happiness, traveling the world, and attending any game, dance recital, graduation, wedding, First Communion, etc. of their many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She took pride in saying that there were over 150 nieces and nephews at last count and she never forgot a birthday.

She was always ready to travel, especially to her niece's in Montana where only two years ago she went rafting!

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Family in Endwell, NY. She was a Eucharistic Minister.

Susann worked in the insurance business for many years, having received several special merit and achievement awards.

She was one of the most dedicated and proud Binghamton Hockey supporters ever. She and Bill were season ticket holders for many years, dating back to the Dusters.

She lived at Good Shepherd Village at Endwell where she enjoyed her fine lifestyle and many friends. She enjoyed visits from her nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her niece Sharon who managed here healthcare.

We, her family, are so grateful for the exceptional care she received at Good Shepherd during her short illness. Bless them all.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Church of the Holy Family, Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or the Special Olympics or a charity of your choice in her name.
