Carol Joy (Mullins) Foley, 83, was called home on Friday, April 12, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Christmas Day in 1940, at home, while the Christmas Carol "Joy to the World" was playing in the background, hence her name, Carol Joy.
She was predeceased in death by her first husband, Gerald Mullins in January 1994, after 35 years of marriage and then by her second husband, Donald Foley in January 2022, after 25 years of marriage.
Carol was also predeceased in death by her parents, Harry and Betty Feduke, her sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Harold Watson and a grandson, Dominick Annunziata.
Carol is survived by her children, Patricia (Mullins) Simonis (Kirk), Deborah (Mullins) Hughes (Alan), Kevin (Karen) Mullins, Gerald (Karry) Mullins, Daniel (Lisa) Mullins, Scott (Kelly) Mullins, Eric (Rebecca) Foley and Margaret (Foley) Annunziata (Rick).
Carol is survived by 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, with another great grandchild arriving in July.

A special thank you to those who gave exceptional care to our mother during this most difficult time. Carol was a devout Catholic, having been a member of St. Paul's and St. James Churches, throughout her adult life, volunteering countless hours.

The family will receive friends at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
