Throughout her life she was very active in local, state and national politics, and was a past president of the Broome County Women's Democratic Club. She had the pleasure of meeting and working closely with Governors, U.S. Senators, and even Presidents. She was proud to have known Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and to have received a personal invitation to the White House from President Johnson. She was often heard saying "there are no Democrat or Republican problems.there are just problems; fix them." She was the most caring mother who gave to her family the treasure of unfailing and never ending love. She asked for nothing but gave everything.every day of her life. That was her way. She deeply touched the lives of every person who came into contact with her; no matter for how brief a time. Hers is a life and soul that time and our hearts will not allow us to forget. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Monday from 4-7 p.m. "I've enjoyed the visit, but it's time for me to go home now." - Genevieve Massar
