Maureen "Toots" Morrissey Obituary

Our Beloved Aunt "Toots" Maureen went peacefully up to the Lord on Saturday, March 16th. A kind and loving woman of incredible faith, Maureen so loved all of her family. We will always remember and cherish her annual Christmas parties, featuring her famous Tom and Jerry Christmas drinks, her quick wit and Morrissey sense of humor.

She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Genevieve Morrissey and by her brothers Thomas and James Morrissey.

She is survived by seven nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews; also by two very special cousins, Charles (Debbie) Dixon and Sharon Dixon; tow sisters-in-law, Ann Morrissey and Mary Morrissey and two very special friends, Peg and William Councilman. She was a woman of great faith. She was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City, a Eucharistic Minister for Lourdes Hospital and a retired 42 year employee of United Health Services.

The family would like to thank the kind and compassionate staff of Good Shepherd Fairview Home and Guthrie/Lourdes Hospice.
