Richard Turner 10.23.73-02.13.2024

Richard Turner passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer. He has been reunited with his father and brother, Victor Sr & Victor Jr. , his grandfather, Richard Elliott and his mother-in-law, Merina Testa-Korenko in the realm of the Lord. He is survived by his mother Nancy Patel (Elliot) & her husband Kirtie Patel, his wife Dawn Testa-Turner and 3 children, Abigail Turner, Victor Turner, and Jordan Ballard and his brother Chris Turner; also survived by his fathers-in-law, Jerry Korenko and Floyd Chase. Richard was treasured and loved by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, cousins – and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending his time in nature. He also loved watching dirt track racing and attending heavy metal concerts. His family was absolutely everything to him and he fought daily to be able to spend his remaining time making memories and showing us how to live each day without fear and to the fullest.

Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1 p.m. Rev. Tracey Glazier-Baxter will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
