Carol E. Broderick, 88, of Hillcrest, NY passed away, November 27,2023. She was predeceased by her husband John Broderick, mother, Ursula Kocak, sister, Frances Hurley, and son-in-law Brent Bentley. She is survived by her 5 children, John M. Broderick, Jr. (Debra) Petersburg, VA, Kathleen Broderick, Binghamton, NY, Mary Bentley, Birmingham, AL, William Broderick (Christina), Port Crane, NY and James Broderick (Kimberly) Binghamton, NY. Also 7 grandchildren, Rebecca (Richard), Matthew, Lauren, Madeline, Peyton, Natalie, and Callie.

Carol began her career at Security Mutual. She was the co-owner of Broderick Office Furniture & Supplies. She worked alongside her husband John for many years.

She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena/St Francis of Assisi. She belonged to the Alter Rosary Society and volunteered for Bingo. She was a member of the Hillcrest Community Association and was awarded "Woman of the Year". She was a member of Zonta. She volunteered many years for Boy Scout events.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St Francis of Assisi Church, Chenango St., Hillcrest, Thursday, December 21st at 10am. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St. Binghamton, NY, Wednesday, December 20th from 4-6pm.
