Obituary of Gerald E. Cadden

Gerald E. Cadden passed away on the afternoon of November 16, 2023 at UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, N.Y. He was predeceased by his wife of over 62 years, Pauline. Gerry is survived by his son Dennis and daughter-in-law Maureen. Born in Nicholson PA on September 25, 1928, Gerry was the youngest of two boys and one girl of the late William Cadden and Mary Sauer. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph, and sister Dorothy. Gerry traveled the world during his 40 years at Link Aviation including many trips and extended stays in Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia. He loved photography, researching family history, electronics, and was a very talented cook and excellent host to his frequent guests. There will be no calling hours and funeral arrangements will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank the staff of UHS Wilson Medical Center, particularly the staff of North Tower 2, and the palliative care team, for the tender care and comfort they provided to Gerald, and immense gratitude and love to two of the most wonderful and caring neighbors a person could ask for. A Private Graveside Service will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Nicholson, PA at the convenience of the family.
